take care when approaching the car park
there is a new chain at the entrance to the car park
this has the club combination lock attached to the left hand side
you do not need to open this instead go to the other end pull the chain tight and unhook the chain
just let go and gravity will do the rest
Phil,
Only problem with putting it on here, is that 90 percent of members do not use the forum and will never see it.
What is the lock and chain actaully for?
Martin.
This chain has replaced the scaffolding pole that was used to restrict access to the car park.
I hope this isn`t a final solution and more a “stop gap” kind of thing? The chain when wet is very rusty and dirty, not something anyone wants to get on their hands.
If a chain is the way forward then I suggest an aluminium/ galvanised one secured with the exact same padlock and key used to secure the tea cabin.
Anther reason then for any members who don`t have a cabin key to purchase one,it would also give access to the car park if needed.
I am not that keen on this chain, its a bit of a tow
